EmpowHER Supports Banner Heart Participation in Phoenix-Area Start! Heart Walk

On February 26, 2011, EmpowHER partner Banner Heart Hospital participated in the American Heart Association’s Start! Heart Walk at Tempe Beach Park, which celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes and encourages many more to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles while raising the dollars needed to fund life-saving research and initiatives. Banner Heart, a sponsor of the event, had a station at the Heart Healthy Festival after the walk. EmpowHER was at the station during the event capturing stories of people that are supporting this cause.
