I'm always interested in learning more about natural products that will help build up health instead of tearing it down. I'm referring to products that not only contain the popular organic ingredients people have become so interested in, but that also do not contain any of the harmful chemicals we are trying to avoid.

Claire Cipolletti tells us about Dr. Shechter's line of organic products for dental and oral health called Truly Natural. Dr. Shechter's toothpaste, for example, has some of the terrific organic ingredients we are looking for, like green tea extracts, cinnamon bark and eucalyptus. Just as importantly, it excludes harmful chemicals like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.

Essential oils are mingled with herbal extracts. "The effectiveness is based on a 'synergistic effect' of the oils working together. They help the teeth by working as an antimicrobial, having a conditioning effect on the gum tissues, and also work towards connective tissue rebuilding."
