Edith shares what diabetic treatment she follows.

As I said, I started out on the pill, and they didn’t think it was doing enough work so they put me over to insulin. My sister has been on insulin for years so I was not afraid of it. So the insulin I take, I take three times a day for my meal, then one night at night I take another, it’s Lantus that is taken at night for all-day coverage.
It’s very easy. I am pleased with the things. I wished I could lose more weight but I am working on that. That, I think that is one downfall that with diabetes you don’t lose weight like you used to. Of course the age doesn’t help either.
