If you're not keen on strenuous exercise, don't feel guilty. If you don't want to work hard, the trick is to work smart.

One addition to your exercise routine that can get better results for less work, is the wrist or ankle weight. Strap on a couple of these beauties and watch your workout and exercise routine immediately become more effective.

"Some people just hate the gym and never develop a liking for the place. Some people just hate to workout and exercise. For those that fall into this camp, you need to at the very least walk briskly for at least 30 minutes a day. If you add the wrist and ankle weights while walking you can still get a pretty good workout in 30 minutes."

Wrist and ankle weights come in a number of styles. You can get weights that are heavier or lighter depending on your preference.

The wrist weights help strengthen and tone your upper arms. Ankle weights will strengthen and tone your legs.

Wear them while playing golf, for example, and ratchet up the value of your game. Even wearing weights around the house will have a payoff.
