I've been married 34 years this year to a hard working farmer(retired) who has had a lot of heart and breathing issues since I was 32 years old and our 5th child was 2 years. I have worked to provide health insurance for the last 22 years and did my best. My life now since his illness has progressed is pretty much alone when I come home from work unless the kids come over. We have slept separate for over 5 years and go no where together. I know he suffers and I feel for him, but when does it come my way?? I have had medical issues and had to handle it myself unless the children help. I see my remaining years alone and it makes me sad. Not what I imagined at 54 years old.

Alone
