Finally replacing our rotten wooden pallets, need advice on plastic ones
Our warehouse has been limping along with the same set of wooden pallets for like five years now and honestly half of them are held together with hope and extra nails at this point. We're not moving anything super heavy, mostly boxes of auto parts and some chemical containers in the 200-300kg range per pallet. I've been looking at switching to plastic because of the moisture issues we get near the loading dock, and I came across these medium duty pallets that seem to be rated for exactly what we need without paying for heavy duty industrial ones that are way overkill. Before I order a test batch though, has anyone here made the switch from wood to plastic and regretted it? I'm a bit worried about whether they stack as well when fully loaded, and if the surface gets slippery when something spills. Also curious how they hold up under sunlight if they end up sitting outside for a day or two waiting for shipment. The wood ones are cheap but I'm tired of replacing broken boards and finding splinters everywhere. Any real world feedback would be great.
