Physical symptoms of chronic stress (acid reflux & hypertension) – recovery advice?
I have been dealing with severe health issues over the past six months, specifically chronic acid reflux and borderline high blood pressure. My doctor confirmed these are almost entirely stress-induced.
Managing the financial side of my business was taking a massive toll. The constant worry about tax compliance and bookkeeping errors was causing actual physical damage to my body. To cut the stress at its source, I recently handed all the corporate tax work over to an accounting firm (https://bestax.ca/) . Taking that burden off my plate was a huge relief.
Even though the main stressor is gone, my stomach and blood pressure haven't fully normalized.
