It depends on who is responsible for it. Honestly, I would not trust the staff with this, because everyone has a different understanding of cleanliness and neatness. It is better if the restaurant handles it itself. Even better would be using something like restaurant uniform rentals, which deliver clean uniforms, take away the ones that need washing and cleaning, and swap them out. Yes, it costs money, but then you do not have to think about it personally.
