As it gets darker and colder in the mornings and the evenings, how do you stay motivated to run during the winter months? Born and raised in Arizona, I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather. My 5am morning runs just aren't happening if it's below 60 degrees. This morning it was in the 40's, yes ... in ... Arizona! What are some tips to keep going...and don't even start with the treadmill, cause that's not happening! I need to get my running back on since the holiday treat season has begun.
