It sponsors continuing education programs on both beginning and advanced levels and a certification program for diabetes educators, and provides grants, scholarships, and awards for educational research and teaching activities. The AADE publishes a monthly journal, curriculum guides, consensus statements, self-study programs, and other resources for diabetes educators.
