Ingredients and Preparation

Fresh, trimmed or frozen, cut asparagus10½ ounces
Garlic powder¼ teaspoon
Lime juice (lemon juice may be substituted)2 teaspoons
Canned green chili peppers, drained, chopped2 tablespoons
Onion, chopped1 tablespoon
Tomato paste2 teaspoons
Salt1/8 teaspoon
Ground cumin¼ teaspoon
White pepper1/8 teaspoon
  1. Directions
  2. Cook asparagus. Drain well.
  3. Pat dry with paper towels and place in blender. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  4. Dip will become less thick upon standing and will need to be stirred.
