Larissa explains how a gracious attitude has helped her stay positive while living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Larissa:
Happiness is related to gratitude by, gratitude can bring you happiness. Gratitude is the direct line to happiness. So if you are finding it difficult to be happy one day, you can find something you’d be grateful for and doing that, that will bring you to happiness, and in finding happiness you will have the power to transform your life.
Happiness is a choice every single day that you have to make from the minute you wake up and if you don’t choose to be happy the minute you wake up, you can change your mind throughout the day. So if you start off having a bad day, you can actually change your mind half way through the day and it will make a difference in the rest of your day, and being happy will transform your life.
MS has been the blessing that I needed and that’s the truth. I was in the rat race like most people, going day-to-day, working 80 hours a week, not enjoying anything or anyone around me. I was seated. I was literally sat down by the universe and I got to experience all the really great things from being still.
