Ingredients and Preparation

Canola oil 1 tablespoon
Small white onion, chopped 1
Lean ground turkey ½ pound
Peanut sauce 3 tablespoons
Hoisin sauce 1 tablespoon
Low-sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Scallions, sliced 2
Red bell pepper, chopped ½
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Large, crispy lettuce leaves (butter or iceberg work well)6
  1. Directions
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté 2-3 minutes, or until slightly softened. Add turkey and sauté 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through.
  3. Stir in peanut sauce, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in scallions and bell pepper. Season with salt.
  5. Spoon turkey mixture into lettuce “wraps,” wrap, and enjoy.
