(Transcribed from video interview)

Dr. Dugoua:
During second trimester, this is usually the coasting phase. What women will find is that they will have the visible signs of pregnancy. They will get more pressure on their bladder and will start to hyperextend their back. During second trimester, the most common complaints are pelvic pain and lower back pain. So often what I do is I recommend them, I refer them to an osteopath or massage therapist who is skilled in helping women with some hands-on therapy. So it’s more of a management of their shifting body shape.
