I was diagnosed with endometriosis at age 20. I spent 8 months flat on my back during my pregnancy with my daughter who was born 3 weeks early, albeit healthy. I continued to suffer with horrible pain, clotting, and overall misery during my periods. I had a TAH, (total abdominal hysterectomy) at age 37. I was completely occluded with necrotic tissue. I went into post surgical menopause and felt horrid for almost one year. I did endless research. My physician finally put me on 0.5mg of Estrodial, q.d. and I immediately felt better. I'm currently 54 years old and am still taking the low dose of Estrodial. My gynecologist advises no changes. As usual, I'm researching and investigating if this is the best protocol for me as I age. I'm glad to join this website, by women, for women! Thank you!

Inspiration

I love quotes.......there are soooo many that inspire me! One that comes to mind: "There is a special place in hell for women who donot support other women." Madeline Albright
