Denis Boucher M.D.
Dr. Boucher holds a Ph.D. degree in experimental medicine. He owns and manages a weight loss clinic and an exercise physiology laboratory in Canada. He is the Chief Scientist for a human performance consulting company in the United States. His clinical expertise is in the fields of exercise physiology, human metabolism, nutrition and sport performance. His weight loss approach is mainly based on the scientific study of human metabolism.
Dr. Boucher has authored and coauthored 12 books. He is also a science columnist for TV and radio shows in Canada. He currently hosts and produces a weekly radio show on XM172 entitled The Little Scientific World of Doc Boucher (in French). The goal of the show is to make science accessible to the layperson.
Dr. Boucher addresses scientific subjects related to exercise physiology, fitness, human metabolism, weight loss, aging, rehabilitation, pain management, mind-body interactions and sports medicine.
Dr. Boucher is also currently completing is upcoming book on weight loss.
