Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is the founder and Medical Director of HER Place®: Health Enhancement and Renewal for Women, Inc.®, whose program examines and evaluate the hormone changes that affect women physically, emotionally, and socially. She regularly teaches Continuing Medical Education courses on Women’s Health to physicians and other health professionals. Dr. Vliet has studied, researched, and written on the effects of hormone changes on migraines, fibromyalgia and chronic pain, PMS, PCOS, depression and anxiety, osteoporosis, cardiovascular risks, etc. Dr. Vliet earned her B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from the College of William and Mary, and her MD degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she also completed her internship in Internal Medicine.
