Mela1962 commented on Anonymous' post I am a 52 year old female that started having exploding head syndrome about a 1 1/2 yrs. ago. My doctor prescribed 50,000 i.u. of Vitamin D once a week for 3 months and then a maintenance dose after that of 4000 i.u a day. No more episodes to date.
