Sally Field describes her inspiration in becoming an advocate for women's bone health.
Well, because I am a woman and I have osteoporosis and I really felt, when I was diagnosed and years before that, really struggling with how do I face this part of my life? There was very little information for me about getting older, about all of the things that happen from bone health to other kinds. I mean, your skin and your eyes and your fingernails, and how do you take care of yourself?
Very little help, very little places that you could go and get information. And, I think it has changed and is changing and I have been very proud to be a part of this program, this campaign to help bring about this awareness to the women of my generation and the women to come after us.
