Dr. Barba discusses the difference between the treatment of benign and malignant brain tumors.

Dr. Barba:
In a more aggressive brain tumor or cancerous tumor, treatments need to be very aggressive and sometimes the outcomes aren’t as good, but in benign brain tumors sometimes complete cure is possible. And so, obviously good medical care is very important to try to figure out which kind of tumor you have and to make sure you get the appropriate treatment because there are very good outcomes from different kinds of brain tumors.
