Hi there-
Hoping I could get some insight. My period cycles are usually 26-28 days. Today is CD 27 and 13dpo about. I have no sign of my period except for sore breasts right now. Felt bloated last week but not too bad this week. No signs of my period since I usually spot a couple days before a brown tinge color. Tested 10dpo and today 13 dpo. Negative on a dollar tree test and First Response. My temp has also been going up the past couple of days and is way above the cover line. Any insight on this?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to our community for insight regarding your menstrual cycle.

Exactly what is your temperature? I have no idea where the cover line on your thermometer is.

Do you have reason to think you might be pregnant?

Exactly when should you expect your period to start?

Try to relax and not over think this. It is not unusual or a matter of concern if your period is delayed by a day or two.

Best,
Maryann

Thank you for the response. Here is the data from my chart:

Cover line is 97.7
Ovulation date around CD14
Last 3 days of temps taken around 6:20 am each morning:
10dpo 98.1
11dpo 97.9
12dpo 98.1
13dpo 98.3

Also to add, this morning I test with a First Response test and was negative. Later this morning I noticed some brown tinge colored spotting. That does happen prior to my period so like you said it could be just coming. I just usually have a shorter cycle so I thought maybe I would be pregnant which I am looking to achieve. My only other symptoms is sore breasts.
