Hello afreen,

Thank you for your question.

Likoria, or leukorrhea, is a a whitish, yellowish, or greenish vaginal discharge.

Leukorrhea may occur during pregnancy and is considered normal when the discharge is thin, white, and relatively odorless.

However, in many cases, leukorrhea is a sign of infection, especially when the discharge is yellow or green, has an offensive odor, and is accompanied by irritation, itching, pain, or tissue inflammation.

It may be caused by a bacterial or yeast infection. Many sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea and chlamydia are major causes of leukorrhea.

Leukorrhea can result when there is irritation from leaving a diaphragm or tampon in too long. But, afreen, I am not aware of this being caused by eating hotel chicken.

The next time you experience this, consider consulting your gynecologist to be certain there isn't another reason, such as an infection.

Regards,
Maryann
