So I had my period last month just fine, a day late but I started like the morning after I was supposed to but I havent had sex since but I was supposed to start yesterday and haven't?! But I've been cramping and bloating and stuff?! Idk if its from the stress because I've been under a lot of stress with work and now I'm stressing about the period thing :/ or could my exercising be a making it late? I do crunches every night and my 50 has gone up to 150 plus like 150 more fof variations of other types of crunches/sit ups and yesterday I all together I had to of done at least 300 and today I've done like 500 already and feel like I need to do more after I eat or drink.anything..... Help me please!!!!

Welcome to EmpowHER. Stress can affect many things in our lives, including our periods. Sometimes we're so stressed out that our body decreases the amount of a hormone (GnRH), which causes us to not ovulate or menstruate. Also, over exercising can delay your period You will need to see a doctor if you don't get your period in a few days.
