I messed up on my birth control pills in June of this year. I had irregular bleeding because of this until I took Provera Aug 5-15. Keep in mind, I am regular and my period comes on like clockwork. I am never late or miss a period. After taking the provera I assumed that I would get my period at least by the end of the month. I was active Aug 9,21,23, and 30th. He ejaculated in me all four times. I have not been on bcp since June. i have not had a period. I only had very very light bleeding one day then two days later and that was only when i wiped and nothing more. when i was on provera i do recall seeing one spot of blood and that was it I am now experiencing lower abdominal discomfort, swollen heavy tender breasts and nipples, some nausea, frequent urination. I have had heartburn maybe twice and that was unusual. Could i be pregnant? My breasts feel like they did when I was breastfeeding my daughter 10 years ago when the milk was coming in but there is no milk.

I just had an ultrasound an hour ago and I'm so disappointed because I'm not. She did say that my ovaries are very close together. Do you know what may have caused that? Also will that have an effect on me conceiving?

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't pregnant. Don't let this discourage you from continuing to try!

I don't know what could cause your ovaries to be close together, it could be congenital but as long as your tubes are close to your ovaries you should still be able to conceive.

You may also want to consider a hysterosalpingogram (HSG), which is an xray test that looks at the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and the area around them.

A hysterosalpingogram is done to:

Find a blocked fallopian tube. The test often is done for a woman who is having a hard time becoming pregnant. An infection may cause severe scarring of the fallopian tubes and block the tubes, preventing pregnancy. Occasionally the dye used during a hysterosalpingogram will push through and open a blocked tube.

Find problems in the uterus, such as an abnormal shape or structure, an injury, polyps, fibroids, adhesions, or a foreign object in the uterus. These types of problems may cause painful menstrual periods or repeated miscarriages.

Good Luck,

Rosa

The box showed pictures of an inaccurate result. My doctor wants me to come in because they sounded like symptoms of pregnancy to her. I have normal periods and I'm not sure why my period has not come on and why I'm experiencing these symptoms.

If you weren't able to get an accurate result with the urine test then it is a good idea to see your doctor. Please keep us posted!

I Was so nervous that I got an error message. The back and side pains are not bad at all. I'm trying to find relieve for my breasts because they're killing me lol! I'm making an appointment this week. I'm feeling a little unusual in the lower abdomen and it's not painful. Are the symptoms I'm having pregnancy symptoms?

I'm sorry--what do you mean you were so nervous you got an error message? It's really hard to tell if your symptoms are of pregnancy or not because although they may be, they aren't specific to pregnancy.

Smgaff,

Have you tested for pregnancy? Side and back pain are symptoms for which you may need to see your doctor about. Although some pregnant women experience back pain during their pregnancy--even in the beginning, it could also be a sign of miscarriage so it is best to see your doctor about this regardless of whether or not your pregnancy test is positive.

Please keep us updated,

Also, I need to add that I have been experiencing discomfort in my side and back that I have never experienced before. When I experience nausea, it is like acid reflux a little. It seems like there is something in my throat making me nauseous and I do not have acid reflux. My breasts are killing me!! all of this just started withing the last couple of weeks.
