Q:

Am i really pregnant?

I had a viral flu and i got my blood tests done, according to my reports, i had elevated liver enzymes and low platelet count, upon searching on the internet i discovered that i have HELLP. I am not so sure if i have hellp but I'm just assuming due to the matching definition on the internet. I went to the doctor along with my mother he just gave me some medicines for the platelets and enzymes but didn't mention anything related to hellp.
My periods are due next week, is there a pregnancy test that i can take before that?
Besides, do i really have hellp?

Hello gurmanwalia

Thank you for writing.

You were helped on this topic yesterday evening.
You have not been diagnosed with HELLP, or pregnancy. You are making assumptions based on your own internet research.
Contact your doctor for more information about your test results, we cannot assist in their interpretation.
Best,
Susan
