Have tried relationships but non of them have helped me attain orgasm. I end up inserting objects in my vagina till i reach climax then i realize blood stains due to the injuries. Am afraid i may cause major health complications to myself. I dont want to get married a gain as i don't want any more children nor no man wants a wife who cant bear him children. Please help me get rid of this desire for sex so that i can continue sleeping peacefully as before and concentrate on taking care of my children. Am tired of relationships as they waste my time and get disappointed whenever they fail to satisfy my sex drive. All i want now is to stay without the urge to have sex. I do exercise but this feeling is intense whenever i go to sleep, changing clothes, when am naked in the birth room and whenever i do self breast examination. Is there medicine you can prescribe for me?

Hi Anon,

Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with your question! I believe I answered your other question in our community about dating a man who does not want children in our community too: https://www.empowher.com/community/ask/am-asingle-mom-3-my-husband-died-6yrs-go-when-i-was-26-and-am-now-32years-old.

There are some different things you can do to satisfy your high libido without necessarily needing a boyfriend. I highly suggest not using random objects to pleasure yourself. This can be very harmful to your vagina and can cause bleeding as you are experiencing.

However, if you want to continue satisfying your high sex drive, you can use something like a vibrator. Vibrators are safe sex toys you can use to satisfy your high libido without hurting yourself. With a vibrator you are in control, so you can have a better chance of pleasing yourself sexually.

Here is a great resource on EmpowHER that gives some tips on using your vibrator: https://www.empowher.com/sexual-well-being/content/8-tips-using-your-vibrator-first-time.

I hope this has helped! Please let me know if you have further questions.

Best,
Erin
