Another pregnancy scare question.

So my period is late this month and I'm really scared, but I'm not sure if It's late because of pregnancy or stress, and there are a lot of factors that I'm thinking could play into this. Last month my boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke. I took Plan B and got my period on around the 5th or 6th of January. But in January we had sex about 3 times on I believe the 15th, 16th, 23rd (not quite positive on those dates) and used a condom every time. On the last time the condom slipped off as he pulled out, but the opening of the condom was outside of me and his semen spilled out onto the bed, but I don't believe any got on me and I cleaned myself off after this incident. But now my period is late. I feel like I should be getting it, but then there is nothing there. And I know google isn't always reliable, but I read that sometimes pregnancy can feel like a period. I'm not sure if it's late from the morning after pill from last month? or the fact that I'm stressed about this? or that I'm stressed about taking the ACT test tomorrow (I'm 17), or possibly that I gave blood on Monday...I don't know if that would affect it. But I'm so scared and don't have any women that i can really talk to...so your help would be so appreciated!! I am absolutely terrified.

Thank you for the advice and for responding so quickly. I took my first home pregnancy test today and it was negative... which is a relief, but I plan on taking another soon if my period still hasn't come yet to be sure.

Hi Anon,

If your last menstrual cycle was Jan 5/6 and you normally have a 28 day cycle, then you should be taking a home pregnancy. It could very well be stress-- I remember when I had to take my SATs/ACTs. However, you want to be certain that it IS stress and not an actual pregnancy. Please take a pregnancy test and keep us posted.

Thanks,

Rosa
