Any Mirena users?

I know many women who are currently on Mirena after the birth of their children. A few of them (more than expected) are actually pregnant again, only 4 months after the birth of their babies.

I am actually a little baffled by this, since Mirena's website states that the IUD is actually 99% effective.

Out of curiousity--Have any of you ladies had the same experience?
