I'm in my late 40's and experiencing hot flashes fairly regularly. The worst part of going through the "Change" is the restless, sleepless nights. I wake up HOT (not quite night sweats), and then COLD. This goes on multiple times a night and I'm getting chronically tired.
Because my mom had a mastectomy at 60, the doctors felt it was hormone-replacement induced. That was 20 years ago, and I know hormone therapy has evolved, but I'm still hesitant about taking hormones.
Are there any effective, natural ways to deal with Hot Flashes?

Yes, you do have other options beside hormone replacement therapy.
I will give you the links to a few articles which I hope may be helpful.
