hi im 24 year old female i am experiencing sharp pains in my belly button since last thursday and today it has bleed a few times i have no sores around that area so id say its coming from inside there is a bad odour aswell , i have key hole surgery last december to remove gallbladder but i dont know if it could be from that but for some reason i dont think so cause it has been 8months ago could you please help me im getting worried now

Hi,
Anytime you have bad odor, it can signal an infection. No need to worry, as most infections are easily treated. It is just very important to call the doctor today, since you also have bleeding and sharp pains, and have it checked out. Please call now, and let us know how you are doing. You may want to go to the Emergency Room if your doctor is unable to see you, as the combination (sharp pain, bleeding, bad odor) need to be medically evaluated soon. Worrying won't help...just take action and get some help...it is better to get a condition treated before it gets worse.
