Guide (reply to ivoneeevega)

Hello ivoneeevega,

Have you ever had this sensation before? Are you breastfeeding?
Or are you due to start your period soon?

Women can experience a burning sensation in their nipples when they are breastfeeding. Breast and nipple tenderness can be a premenstrual symptom.

A tight fitting bra can cause an irritation and pain in the nipples.

Since this burning sensation persists, consider scheduling an appointment with your physician.

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Is the burning sensation constant? Was the onset sudden? Can you remember doing anything differently just prior to the onset of the burning? Does anything relieve the burning feeling?
With more information, I might be able to narrow it down to possible causes.
