breast cyst

i have cysts on my left breast and yesterday my dr put me on the z-pac for chest congestion now the breast that has the cysts is burning i haven't felt this before could it be from the medicine?

Hi Anon,

One of the symptoms of a breast cyst is breast pain or tenderness in the area of the breast lump. The Z pack can also sometimes cause skin irritation but it would not be localized to the breast with the cyst. So, if you are feeling a burning/pain sensation on the breast with the cyst chances are that the cyst is the cause.
