Can I be pregnant after taking next choice as directed?

My last period was around May 18. I had unprotected sex May 20th. I took next choice at 10 am the next day (21st) I still haven't gotten my period. I took a pregnancy test this week and they both came out negative !! Can next choice delay my period this long ? Please advise thank you!

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. One of the side effects for next choice can be changes to your next period. Shorter or longer, Heavier or lighter. If you took it as directed, there should be less of chance for pregnancy.
