I had my fallopian tubes removed due to multiple etopic pregnancies. I still have my ovaries, so can I still get pregnant?

Hi b,

I don't see how you can become pregnant without invitro fertilization. A tubal ligation is done when a woman no longer wants to become pregnant. Cutting, tying and burning the ends of the Fallopian tubes make reversal difficult if not impossible.

This is false. 9 years ago I had my tubes cut tied and burned. The whole kit. I already had 3 kids. My body wasn't strong enough for anymore. So I went on with the surgery. 7 years later I got pregnant with my son. Who is now 2. Healthy and perfect in every way. If you speak to any doctor they will tell you yes 1% chance is basically impossible. But what they don't tend to tell you is. After 5 years if you have a strong immune system your tubes do regrow. Believe it or not. Our body's do recreate. And lucky I'm happy to say I am pregnant again even though I did have a second removal after my son's cesarean . Couldn't be any happier .

My friend had both of her tubes removed she couldn't afford ivf she said she went online and ordered a self insemination kit followed the directions inserted the sperm directly into her ovaries herself and she conceived and she said it only cost $ 80 i was wondering is that even possible because she now has a 2 year old!

I desperately wanted kids. I have had to ectopic pregnancies. One in '04 and another in '10 with a tube being removed each time. Devastation doesn't even begin to describe the hurt especially when you see your other siblings having beautiful children. The doctor told me I wouldn't be able to conceive now. I would really like to do IVF but we can't afford it.

Same situation as you but trust me IVF isn't guaranteed to work either! We did three tries two fresh cycles and a frozen transfer cycle
Both of us healthy and it did NOT work!! Some women have to try 10 times and it is very grueling mentally and physically. Good luck

Cvs And walgreens have what is called "the stork OTC" it replaces the in vitro and it's non prescription any more hence the acronym otc. It costs about $79 and can be done in the privacy of your home. It works just like in vitro and is a whole lot cheaper. GOD bless you

I'm sorry but it only holds sperm in place by cervix for easily fertilization, without the tubes the sperm still has no way of finding eggs, the stork website said this, and I highly doubt you know more than company. It helps achieve pregnancy but not in a tubeless woman.
