i,m having what i think are hot flashes not often but they scare me , is this possible even though i had a hysterctomy at 36 everything was taken overies and all i am now 54?

Thanks so much for your question.

When you had your complete hysterectomy, you were put into a surgical menopause. But that doesn't mean you have no other sources of hormones in your body. And the levels of those hormones may be shifting now.

Did you take any hormone replacement therapy after your hysterectomy?
