Q:

Can my nipple be traumatized

Crazy scenario, my sister in law got a huge water slide and we played on it all weekend, I continuously jumped on it and landed forearm directly to my right breast repeatedly, it didn't hurt then but it's been almost a week and the pain in my nipple is almost unbearable, the pain in my breast has almost gone away but any stimulation to my nipple even just putting on my bra is indescribable. What's wrong with me? Is there such a thing as a bruised nipple? Is it traumatized?

Hello, Anon.

Thank you for posting.

If you are in that much pain, it does sound like it's been traumatized in some way by what you did. Have cool compresses and something for pain, like Ibuprofen helped at all? If the pain persists, see your doctor.
