I was with a guy about a week ago, and I gave him a blow job and he ate me out. Then while I was zipping up my pants it's possible that some of his cum dripped down onto my vagina. I'm also on the pill and I'm very young so my period is still irregular, but it should have come by now. Could I be pregnant?

Hi Anon,

If you are on the pill, then even if any sperm somehow got into your vagina you are still protected against pregnancy.

If this guy is not someone who you're in a relationship with, please consider the use of a condom next time to avoid any sexually transmitted diseases.

Best,

Rosa

This sounds like amenorrhea:, which is the medical term for the absence of periods.

There are two types of amenorrhea: primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. Primary amenorrhea is when a young woman has not had her first period by the age of 16. Secondary amenorrhea is when a woman who has had normal menstrual cycles stops getting her monthly period for three or more months.

Secondary amenorrhea can be caused by some birth control methods, such as Depo-Provera, stress, poor nutrition, depression, extreme weight loss and over-exercising.

You need to be evaluated by your gynecologist to determine the exact cause for the absence of your periods.
