can carbon monoxide remain in your body after the problem is resolved? I had the symptoms, but I now have a dry cough. maintenance came to put a part on the furnance because a rep from the gas company turned it off and red tagged it. I was told to open windows. Once one gets air it leaves ones body. Is this true?
