I had unprotected sex sunday night and DID take the pill that morning. I took my pill on time saturday as well. I forgot to take it thursday and friday. It is my 3rd week of pills (Yaz). I did take the Plan B pill after about 22 hours just for safety procautions. Are there still chances of being pregnant?

Anytime you miss 2 or more pills in a row, there is an increased risk of pregnancy, because the pill is not as effective (it is 99% effective when used consistently and correctly).

You missed Thursday & Friday's pill.
You took Saturday & Sunday's pill.
You had sex on Sunday.

Did you take Thursday's & Friday's pills as directed to make up for missing them? The directions say to take Thursday's missed pill on Saturday and Friday's missed pill on Sunday (and, you still take Saturday and Sunday's pill as usual...it is two pills per day). You then need to use back-up method of birth control for 7 days.

It is great you took Plan B, as that provides extra protection, but it is not 100%.

Unfortunately, you will need to wait until your next period to know if you are pregnant or not, but you have done what you need to, in order to increase your chances of preventing an unwanted pregnancy.

does this information help?

I took one pill saturday but took two pills sunday. I know I should have took two pills saturday but making up for the missed days wasnt exactly on my mind since I'm not normally sexually active.

I am supposed to start my period in a few days (according to my pack atleast), so I am wondering if I should continue taking ym inactive pills or not and just wait for my cycle to start and end.

Thank you for the information though.
