Female IBS

Applies to: Female 18-65 years of age
IBS affects approximately 10-20% of the general population. It is the most commonly diagnosed disease by gateroenterologist and one of the most common disorders seen by primary care physicians. IBS is characterized by a group of symptoms in which abdominal pain or discomfort is associated with a change in bowel pattern, such as loose or more frequent bowel movements or diarrhea, and/or hard or less frequent bowel movements or constipation.

Local physicians are participating in a nationwide research study of an investigational drug for women with IBS-d or IBS-a.

You may be eligible to participate if you:
-Are a woman between the ages of 18-65
-Have experienced the symptoms of IBS-d or IBS-a in the last 3 months

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care, including physical exams, laboratory tests and the study drug at no charge. See below for contact details.

Fibroid Study (Female)

If you have heavy menstrual bleeding and have been diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids, you may qualify to participate in a paid clinical trial. See below for contact details.

BIRTH CONTROL STUDY

We are seeking patients for a research study lasting approximately 1 year comparing an investigational birth control medication with one currently on the market

We are seeking healthy participants who:
Are between the ages of 18-50
Are currently on a 21 day regimen birth control pill and willing to switch
Are experiencing headaches and/or pelvic pain during their menses
Are able to tolerate ibuprofen

Qualified individuals will receive:
Study related office visits, testing, and study medication at no cost

Decreased Sexual Desire (Menopausal)

Have you noticed small, individual flesh-colored growths, or clusters of growths on your genital area? Or, if you've already been diagnosed with genital warts, are you experiencing another outbreak?

Qualifications Include:
> Sexually active females ages 12 and older
> Currently experiencing an outbreak of genital warts

Study Involves:
> An initial consultation and physical exam
> Usage of study medication
> Follow-up care at no cost to you

Hot Flashes

This investigational drug does not contain hormones

You Must Be:
Generally Healthy
Experiencing multiple daily bothersome hot flashes
At least 6 months since your last menstrual period

Over Active Bladder (Female)

Applies to: Females +18 years of age
OVERACTIVE BLADDER
We are conducting a research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of overactive bladder.

You may qualify to participate if:

You are at least 18 years old and female
You have overactive bladder symptoms for at least 3 months including urgency and frequency of urination
You are willing to complete up to 6 study visits over an 18 week period

Qualified participates will receive study medication or placebo (inactive look-alike pill) and all study related medical care at no cost. Financial compensation for time and travel. See below for contact details..
