I have a left club foot. Had casting for 10 years. Had achiles lengthening and plantar fascia twice at age 13 and 18. Didn't work. Had a failed radical osteotomy when I was 34 with 2 staples. I don't know why these orthoepoedic surgeons think that an osteotomy help. I am now 67 and ready to have a fusion of my left ankle in 2 months. I have met with about 20 different surgeons, all wanting to fuse my ankle
. But this doctor is willing to let me have a boot instead of a cast, and no bone graft. He is planning on moving my tibia and fibula forward. Any advice?
