I had my tubs tied about 10 months ago. ever since then i have had a period every month lasting about 7 days with heavy flow for about 4 days then lightens up the last 3. it might be about 1-3 days late but i always get it. this month i was 6 days late and my period was sooo light i only had to change my pad at night and i the morning. i had no clots on the pad or when i went to the bathroom. the period only lated for about 4 and a 1/2 days. ever since that period which ended going on 4 days ago i have been having headaches, lower back pain and light cramping and bloating. could i be pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,
I am a little confused on how you checked your cervix? Have you been to the doctor? Did they take a blood test for possible pregnancy? Home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate in most cases and the lack of period for several months should certainly be checked by a physician.

Can you keep us posted on what your physician tells you?
Thanks,
Missie

Thank you...BUT I havent had a period since. Now I have been feeling some movement. I doesnt feel like gas bubbles. I have been pregnant twice before and I know what the movement feels like. A few weeks ago I had gone to the bathroom and when i wipped it was very very light spotting and nothing since. I had taken and EPT and still negative. I feel pregnant. I just dont know what to do. I also checked my cervix and there is a small slit then after that it is very tight. Basically closed. Could that be a sign of pregnancy?

Dear nec1202,
I have heard of women becoming pregnant even though their tubes are tied although it is not very often. You actually had a period so it sounds like the answer is no. Periods are not always the same from month to month as some are worse then others, some last longer than others and then sometimes we miss a period for no apparent reason at all. I would assume that this is your scenario since you actually did have a period.
If you are concerned, take a pregnancy test to settle your nerves.
Keep us posted.
