I got my period on the 23 but it was heavy for the first 2 days and than stopped, than it was just a lil spotting that lasted maybe half a day. now i always feel like i want to throw up and sometimes feel sick.. could i be pregnant? i am going to take a hpt but i just dont know how long to wait before i take one..

Having a menstrual period, although it "only" lasted 3 days (which is within the normal duration), would indicate that you are not pregnant.

Your symptoms of feeling sick could be indications that you may actually be ill, you could have an upset stomach, or it could be some "wishful thinking" that you are pregnant. Please don't downplay the power of your emotions, feelings and thoughts...I can not tell you the number of women (myself included) who REALLY FELT we were pregnant, in every way (symptoms and everything), although logic said we were not (having a period). Trying to conceive is a very emotional time in your life, and many women experience these psychosomatic symptoms...this is perfectly normal (maybe even expected!).

Periods can be shorter in duration, and still count as a period.

If you continue having symptoms that are troublesome, please do not hesitate to contact your doctor.
