Hi MzBlueMandMs,

Thank you for clarifying that. I still think you should contact your gynecologist to have a blood pregnancy test done. The concern is why no period, a negative result and spotting.

Keep in touch,
Maryann

Hello MzBlueMandMs,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I am glad you reached out to us with your concern.

I am concerned about the occasional blood, both brown and red, that you have seen this month. Is the blood only when you urinate? Do you see it when you have a bowel movement? Have you seen spotting on your underwear?

Did you test in the morning? Did you use the first urine of the day?

Please call to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist, who can order a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate than a urine test. Also, you want to find out why you have been noticing this occasional bleeding.

Please keep us updated,
Maryann
