I had an IUD removed March 7th and got my period March 10th for 6 days, I was tracking my ovulation with a kit and got a positive on March 23rd that I was ovulating, my boyfriend and I had sex pretty much every day. On March 30th I woke up very nauseas with cramping and its just continued. I feel very dizzy also. The cramping is dull but sometimes gets a little stronger and sometimes its tingly... I have taken a pregnancy test yesterday 4/2/12 came back negative, Im thinking it was too early. Could I be pregnant or just extreme wishful thinking???

Hello Mirandanncox,
During pregnancy, cells, that form the placenta, produce a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin, which is better known as hCG.
Levels can first be detected by a blood test about 11 days after conception and about 12 to 14 days after conception by a urine test. In general, the hCG levels will double every 72 hours.
Retake a home pregnancy test. Calculate 2 weeks following the last possible day that you could have conceived and follow the directions carefully to get the most accurate results.
Best of luck,
