Covering of Vaginal Opening

Hello,

I am 26 years old and just recently had to have a LEEP procedure done for CIN2. I had complications and bleeding that resulted in the packing of my vagina. Since then, I have had extra tissue covering the opening of my vagina. The gauze used to pack my vagina has been removed and the bleeding has stopped, so my body is now healing. But this tissue still remains. I've read online that it may be remnants of my hymen, but I'm not sure. As I said, it's come from inside the vagina and covers the opening (I thought it was gauze when I first saw it). It has a different texture and is discolored (which may be from what they put in me to stop the bleeding). I'm wondering if this is normal and if it will go away on its own. I've never had anything like this before and am a bit nervous about the whole thing.
