Guide

Dear Anon,

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and sharing your question about being dizzy.

First, have you talked to your parents about what's going on? A dizzy spell from time to time can be normal, but since it has been happening for over a week I advise you to call your doctor.

In young women who are healthy, a dizzy spell could be from fatigue, lack of nutrition or most likely dehydration.

You could also be experiencing vertigo, low blood pressure, low iron or an inner ear infection. I would not be able to tell you the cause, only a medical professional can examine and diagnose you.

Here is a thread from the community that had a lot of activity https://www.empowher.com/community/ask/when-child-faints-or-passes-out-what-could-be-cause?page=8

In the meantime, please talk with your parents and have them make a doctor's appointment for you. Try to drink a lot of water as well.

Will you call your doctor Anon?

Best,

Kristin
