You brush on Latisse and it is supposed to make your lashes longer. How does that happen & is it safe?

I've been using Latisse for about 2 months now and it really works. It is painless and I haven't noticed any side effects atall. I had a few eyelashes that were so long that I had to cut them!
You have to be diligent about applying though.Latisse effects the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle. It will actually increase the length of the eyelashes which are in the growth phase and put the other lashes into growth phase. When using it, you put a tiny amount of Latisse solution on a sterile applicator and apply it to the base of your upper eyelashes once a night. It’s as easy as applying eyeliner. Latisse hasn’t been determined to cause harm to your eyes, so you don’t even have to rinse it out if it gets in the eye. It is FDA approved. There is another product called Lumigan which may give quicker results.
I haven't noticed much eyelash darkening with Latisse. It is better for lengthening. Apparently Lumigen is better for darkening.
Latisse is a little pricey at about $100 a pop but I can make it last forever!
