Hi! I recently went to a doctor and I told her the approximate date of my "activity" and some other details and she told me based on the information I gave her that I would have been 12 weeks pregnant when I got my trans abdominal ultrasound. Suppose if I was 10 weeks pregnant when I got my ultrasound, would the trans abdominal one have shown pregnancy because my mom was in the with me so I couldn't tell the sonographer or technician that there's a chance that I could be pregnant.

So my question is that is there an possible way that the sonographer or the technician would have missed a pregnancy at 10 weeks through a trans abdominal ultrasound?

Would the type of the machine they carry affect the results?

Is it possible that the sonographer did not check some areas properly and missed the pregnancy?

Where would the baby be located at 10 weeks?

Could the sonographer have missed it if the baby was too down in the uterus?

Or would a pregnancy be quiet evident that even the potential arrears of errors mentioned in my questions wouldn't have been able to hide the pregnancy

Sorry, I know it probably seems like I'm over thinking, its because I don't want to be pregnant and I need some reliable answers from professionals to eliminate any doubts and become worry free

Thank you
