Thank-you Missie, I have had 2 surgeries totaling 20 hours for my foot/ankle fusions and was just looking for someone who has a fusion of both to see what life after is like. I am looking to go back to work soon and I am a nurse. Just wondering for support.I have been NWB casted since August 2013. Thank-you.

Hi Queysmom,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. In 2011, I had an accessory bone removed from my right ankle so in other words it used to look like I had two ankle bones. It is a genetic condition that provides SO much pain to the person. Once the bone was removed and my ankle reshaped, 3 months on crutches and learning to walk again....it was the best thing I ever did as the pain has finally gone away. Although, I still get phantom pains here and there.
Did you have a question about your surgery?
Missie
